Wallaces Farm is home to a herd of the finest pedigree Gloucester Old Spot pigs.
High on the ridge of Blackdown Hills, overlooking the Vale of Taunton, the land at Hemyock is free draining and grows good grass on sandy topsoil which overlays greensand subsoil.
It's just the kind of land that lends itself to the outdoor rearing of pigs, and to the health and contentment of the Wallaces herd.
Graham Wallace farms non-intensively, and does as much as possible to maintain high standards of animal welfare, and with respect too, for the surrounding environment and landscape.
